About Abraham van der Linde
Bridging bits and bytes with bolts and boards
My career spans diverse domains from clinical trial data systems to embedded firmware, with proven expertise in regulated environments (FDA compliance, TISAX ISO 27001 certification). I've led engineering teams, architected CI/CD pipelines, and built production-ready systems from firmware to frontend.
Currently freelancing and actively seeking new opportunities, I specialize in full-stack web development, Linux system administration, and DevOps practices. I bring strong skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and cloud technologies, combined with a passion for building scalable, reliable systems that solve real-world problems.
The Abraham Lab Vision
The Abraham Lab is more than just a portfolio - it's a maker space where software meets hardware. Here, I explore the intersection of web development, embedded systems, and physical computing. Every project is an opportunity to learn, experiment, and share knowledge with the community. My goal is to demonstrate how modern full-stack development can seamlessly integrate with electronics and maker technologies to create innovative, real-world solutions.
The Lab Setup

Homelab Environment
Primary server powered by a HP440 workstation running Proxmox for virtualization, runnning serveral VMs each hosting Docker containers for development and production services.
Electronics Workbench
Equipped with soldering station, oscilloscope, multimeter, and various microcontrollers including Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi boards.
Maker Tools
Creality K1C 3D printer for rapid prototyping, hand tools for assembly, and a growing collection of sensors, modules, and components for integration projects.
Current Focus (2025 Q4)
- Building "WhatsApp for Restaurants" - a communication platform for the restaurant industry
- Freelancing and consulting on full-stack web development projects
- Actively seeking Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, or Senior Software Engineer roles
- Maintaining self-hosted infrastructure with Proxmox and Docker
- Continuing work on home automation and IoT sensor networks
